Abstract: 

Introduction: Today, organizations in the context of ISLAMIC societies has focused on the ethical and moral values because it is likely that employees adhere to the ISLAMIC WORK ethic, shows enthusiasm and more energy in relation to their WORK. With this approach, the aim of this study was to evaluate the status of the ISLAMIC WORK ETHICS and WORK Engagement among employees in the University of Kurdistan and to investigate the relationship between these two variables with each other.Methods: Data collection procedure, it is a descriptive study. The population of the study includes all Kurdistan University Employees, except Company and Service employees. Samples of 116 subjects were chosen through the simple random sampling method. The data collection tools were an ISLAMIC WORK ETHICS questionnaire and WORK Engagement questionnaire Kanungo. According to experts, their questionnaire validity and reliability according to Cronbach's alpha coefficients were reviewed and approved. Data analyzed using Exploratory Factor Analysis, one sample t-test, Pearson correlation and Simultaneous multiple regressions.Results: Results showed that mean of the ISLAMIC WORK ETHICS was higher than the average and mean of the WORK Engagement was medium. Between ISLAMIC WORK ETHICS and its components was a significant relationship with WORK Engagement. It was also found that components a positive attitude towards WORK and attention to the welfare of others have a significant role in predicting the WORK Engagement.Conclusions: These results indicate a significant positive relationship between ISLAMIC WORK ETHICS and WORK Engagement of employees in the University of Kurdistan. Therefore, it is recommended to university administrators that efforts to establish ethical WORKspace and encourage employees to ISLAMIC and ethical activities so that hoped to promote the WORK Engagement.

Abstract: 

Background and Objectives: ISLAMIC WORK ETHICS is influenced by several variables, such as some psychological components. In this regard, the present study aimed to investigate the relationship of flexibility and resilience with ISLAMIC WORK ETHICS. Methods: The statistical population of the current descriptive-correlational study included all the employees of Shahid Mahallati Hospital in Tabriz in 2019. A total of 200 individuals were selected using nonprobability convenience sampling and answered the questionnaires of resilience, flexibility, and ISLAMIC WORK ethic. The obtained data were analyzed in SPSS software using the Pearson correlation coefficient and regression test. A p-value less than 0. 05 was considered statistically significant. Results: As evidenced by the obtained results, ISLAMIC WORK ethic has a positive significant correlation with the components of resilience (personal competence (P<0. 001), confidence in one’ s instincts (P<0. 003), positive acceptance of change and secure relationships (P= 0. 001), control and spiritual influences (P<0. 004) and the components of flexibility (task flexibility (P<0. 008), skill flexibility (P<0. 001) and behavioral flexibility (P <0. 00)). It was also found that resilience with 60% and flexibility with 45% can predict ISLAMIC ETHICS among the staff of Shahid Mahallati Hospital in Tabriz. Conclusion: Considering the impact of resilience and flexibility components on ISLAMIC ETHICS, it can be concluded that people with a high degree of resilience and flexibility demonstrate a stronger tendency and commitment to ISLAMIC ETHICS.

Abstract: 

Background and Aim: Quality of life is a multidimensional subjective concept that has been of interest to humanities researchers in recent years. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between ISLAMIC WORK ethic and spiritual intelligence with quality of WORK life among faculty members of ISLAMIC Azad University, Behbahan branch. Materials and Methods: This was a descriptive-correlational study. The statistical population consisted of all of the full-time faculty members, in the second semester of the Academic year 12017-18. Data were collected using Walton’ s Quality of WORK Life, Ali’ s ISLAMIC WORK ETHICS, and Sohrabi and Naseri’ s Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaires. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and regression tests by SPSS 22 software. Findings: There was a significant positive relationship between ISLAMIC WORK ETHICS and spiritual intelligence (dimensions of transcendent self-awareness, patience, forgiveness) and quality of WORK life (p <0. 05). Regression test showed that ISLAMIC WORK ethic with beta coefficient of 0. 40, self-knowledge with beta coefficient of 0. 33 and patience with beta coefficient of 0. 17, were able to predict the teachers' quality of WORK life, respectively. Research variables accounted for 50% of the changes in the quality of WORKing life. Conclusion: According to the findings, it is recommended that the authorities promote the quality of WORK life by establishing an ethical atmosphere and encouraging staff to carry out activities based on ISLAMIC teachings as well as aligning values with the organizational mission of the university, provide the ground for enhancing the WORK life quality of the faculty members.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study was to investigate the factor structure of WORK ETHICS in students. To this end, 715 students from universities of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, ISLAMIC Azad, Persian Gulf, Isfahan, Lorestan, Bojnourd, Hamedan Alvand and Hamedan Ganjnameh participated in the research and completed the research questionnaires. The principal components exploratory factor analysis with varimax rotation on Protestant WORK ethic items and principal axis factoring exploratory factors analysis with promax rotation on ISLAMIC WORK ethic items confirmed the five-factor and the six-factor solutions, respectively. The factor analysis on the 65 items of protestant WORK ethic revealed that the five-factor solution explained about 45% of the variance of data, and based on the content of items loaded on each factor, the factors were labeled as follow: hard WORK, WORK centrality, leisure time, self-reliance, and morality. Factor analysis on 43 ISLAMIC WORK ethic items found that the six-factor solution explains about 44% of the variance of data, and according to the content of the items loaded on each factor, the factors were labeled as: centrality of WORK / Hard WORK, WORK and community / justice, cooperation and consultation, importance of WORK, importance of production and economic activities, and avoiding waste of time. The correlation coefficients between the obtained dimensions confirmed the relative independence of the factors. In addition, both ISLAMIC and Protestant WORK ETHICS questionnaires had a high degree of internal consistency. Overall, the results showed that ISLAMIC WORK ethic and protestant WORK ETHICS are multi-dimensional structures.
